Mayo Clinic and Mercy Advance Collaboration to Transform Patient Care

February 23, 2026

ROCHESTER, Minn. and ST. LOUIS – Mayo Clinic and Mercy are taking another major step forward in a long term collaboration to transform patient care. Researchers and solutions developers now have access to decades of high quality, de-identified Mercy data through the secure infrastructure of Mayo Clinic Platform_Connect, offering a combined view of more than 15 million patients across both systems.

Read Mayo's announcement here.

This expanded data environment makes it possible to study larger, more diverse patient populations and uncover new insights that can lead to earlier diagnosis, better treatment options and more equitable health outcomes.

It's the latest milestone in the 10-year agreement with Mayo Clinic to bring world class research, data science and innovation directly into the communities Mercy serves. By securely linking data sets without transferring or exposing individual records, both organizations retain full control while gaining the ability to identify patterns, risk factors and preventative opportunities that no single system could see alone.
