- Mercy Hospital Stoddard has provided a full range of community health services since 1969 in Dexter, Missouri
- 1968 – The hospital then known as Dexter Memorial Hospital was dedicated with a ceremony that was attended by Vice President Hubert Humphrey.
- 2013 – Became Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County when joining SoutheastHealth.
- 2014 – Southeast Medical Plaza opened on the hospital campus. The primary care clinic contains 29 exam rooms, 8 physician offices, a procedure room, lab and x-ray, a large waiting area and pediatric waiting area.
- 2018 – Enhancing and updating the front of the facility, a new Emergency Department and Behavioral Health Unit was added. The Emergency department now has 10 exam rooms including an isolation room, trauma room and four vertical treatment rooms. The Behavioral Health Unit is a 15-bed voluntary facility that includes an outdoor and group therapy areas.
