Cooking Demo with Chef Eric and Dietician Samantha Findley – Virtual Online Event

Thursday, June 3 from 11:00 a.m. – Noon. Come join our virtual cooking demo led by Registered Dietician, Samantha Findley, featuring high calorie-high protein, soft recipes for managing poor appetite, difficulty swallowing and fatigue through treatment. Recipes and grocery lists will be sent out prior so you can follow along in your own kitchen. Samantha will discuss the key ingredients in these recipes while Chef Eric prepares them. Breast Cancer Support Group

In partnership with Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis.

An educational and emotionally safe group, in collaboration with Mercy, for women newly-diagnosed and survivors, female family and friends.

Day:  Second Wednesday of the month
Time:  5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Nutrition Support Group

Mercy experts discuss the importance of nutrition and managing nutrition-related side effects through cancer treatment.

Day:  First Wednesday of the month

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

If you have been diagnosed with cancer of the head and neck, we have a support group for you. Share experiences, get advice, and learn from each other and experts on a variety of topics. Please join us and feel free to bring a friend or partner.

Day:  Fourth Thursday of the month
Time:  5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Thyroid Cancer Support Group

Join other thyroid cancer survivors to share experiences and get advice.

Day:  Third Saturday of each month
Time:  10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Prostate Cancer Support/Networking Group

In partnership with Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis.

This group features speakers and follow-up discussions on important topics such as treatment options, quality of life, incontinence, intimacy concerns and fear of recurrence.

Lymphedema Support Group

Meetings are run by a certified lymphedema therapist with Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Spiritual Care for Cancer Patients

Our highly-trained chaplains provide spiritual care for cancer patients and immediate family members at no cost. Pastoral Services are available at 314-251-6470 or with Chaplain Susan Stucco at 314-330-3664.

Location:  Chaplain Susan Stucco offers appointments at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center.
