Mercy offers many unique programs in supportive settings for cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones. Find a cancer support group that meets your needs:

Breast Cancer Support Group

In partnership with Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis.

An educational and emotionally safe group, in collaboration with Mercy, for women newly-diagnosed and survivors, female family and friends. Salad will be provided.

Day:  Second Wednesday of the month
Time:  5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

If you have been diagnosed with cancer of the head and neck, we have a support group for you. Share experiences, get advice, and learn from each other and experts on a variety of topics. Please join us and feel free to bring a friend or partner.

Day:  Fourth Thursday of the month
Time:  5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Thyroid Cancer Support Group

Join other thyroid cancer survivors to share experiences and get advice.

Day:  Third Saturday of each month
Time:  10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Prostate Cancer Support/Networking Group

In partnership with Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis.

This group features speakers and follow-up discussions on important topics such as treatment options, quality of life, incontinence, intimacy concerns and fear of recurrence.

Day:  First Thursday of the month
Time:  6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Lymphedema Support Group

Meetings are run by a certified lymphedema therapist with Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Spiritual Care for Cancer Patients

Our highly-trained chaplains provide spiritual care for cancer patients and immediate family members at no cost. Pastoral Services are available at 314-251-6470 or with Chaplain Susan Stucco at 314-330-3664.

Day / Time:  Available by appointment only.
Location:  Chaplain Susan Stucco offers appointments at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center.
