Children's Urology - St. Louis

Mercy Clinic Children’s Urology helps children recover their independence by treating what can be embarrassing urologic issues with surgical precision and in a comforting environment.

Anand  V. Palagiri, MD, founded St. Louis’ first pediatric kidney stone center in 2007. He is one of only a few pediatric urologists in St. Louis who use minimally invasive techniques to remove painful kidney stones from children.

Dr. Palagiri treats any pediatric urologic disorder. He also consults with expectant mothers when urinary tract issues are discovered in the womb.

Creating the best care possible is most important to Dr. Palagiri and his team at Mercy Clinic Children’s Urology in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Palagiri believes compassion and collaboration are vitally important. He wants to be sure that families fully understand a child’s issue and available treatments. Because girls may feel more comfortable when seen by a woman, advanced practitioners on the team are available to see young female patients. Dr. Palagiri remains in close contact with every patient’s primary care physician to ensure that they understand the diagnosis and treatment options. As part of the expertise found at Mercy Children’s Hospital on the campus of Mercy Hospital St. Louis, he relies on the expertise of pediatric anesthesiologists, neonatologists, neurologists and others to give kids the best… so they can get back into life.
