CME credit requirements:
Educational content must target physicians (MD & DO) on improving their clinical competence
Mercy Hospital St. Louis is accredited to offer AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)
CME credit is only recorded and documented for Mercy Physicians (MDs and DOs)
Application needs to be Submitted 3-6 Weeks prior to the activity
Requests need to be made at the beginning planning stages of the activity
CME credit may not be given retroactively
CME must not be advertised until it is approved
All planning must be done independent of commercial interests
*Grand Round packets must be sent as a complete packet in order for provider’s CME credit to be documented properly (Fliers, application (anytime the learning objectives change), financial disclosures and evaluations/summaries). If packet is not complete it will be sent back and CME credit will not be provided.
The goal of the Mercy Hospital St. Louis CME Department is to educate our physicians in current Evidence Based Medicine to increase their knowledge and/or improve their performance and competence.
