If your child needs immediate medical attention and you cannot quickly and safely bring your child to the Emergency Department, please call 911 immediately.
When your child has an accident or suddenly becomes ill, your only concern is finding immediate access to the best care available. At Mercy Kids, our emergency medicine teams are here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.
Our Emergency Departments (EDs) are staffed by emergency medicine physicians with experience in emergency care for infants and children. Dedicated ED nurses care for every young patient who comes in for treatment.
Mercy Kids provides pediatric emergency medical care for countless injuries and illnesses. Among the most common are:
Most children seen in our Emergency Department can return home after being treated. If your child requires more extensive care, we will admit them to the hospital and coordinate any care required so you can focus on your child. Every Mercy ED is part of the Mercy Kids integrated system of care for children. Wherever your child is seen you have access to Mercy Kids pediatric specialists and children’s hospitals so you can receive the best care close to home.
