After a great deal of thought and prayer, Dr. Bryan Green is leaving Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Mountain View, and returning to his boyhood of home of St. Joseph, Mo.
“My wife, Marta, and I are excited to be moving closer to our families and old friends, but we are also sad,” Dr. Green explained. “We have so many new and very valued friendships in this area. I’m humbled when I think about what people have shared with me--their pain, concerns and joys. I’m honored to have been a part of a fantastic team that contributes so much to the health care of our community. We will miss our days of living in south-central Missouri.”
To minimize the disruption in care for the patients he is leaving behind, Dr. Green will stay on until June 28. Dr. Nicholas Martinez-Gamba will join the team this summer. “I am sorry that my move will bring some disruption, but I know everyone will welcome Dr. Martinez-Gamba in the same wonderful way they welcomed me.”
Dr. Martinez-Gamba was born and spent his early years growing up in Canada and then received his medical education in Paraguay. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas. Dr. Martinez-Gamba indicated that he was attracted to the Mountain View area by the many outdoor activities available. He is also an avid soccer player, enjoys music, reading and comparative religious studies. Dr. Hilary Frescoln will continue to practice at Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Mountain View, along with advanced practitioners Beverly Denton, Michael Gaddy and Patty Summerford. Efforts continue to recruit another full-time physician.
