Hearing that the local Mother to Mother Ministry was in dire need of diapers for their clients, Mercy Hospital Fort Scott department directors chipped in for a little diaper duty.

A simple appeal by Craig Campbell, Mercy pharmacy director, to make a small monetary donation netted a big return; 1,980 diapers to stock the closets at Mother to Mother Ministry office.

“Thank you to Mercy for this help,” said Wilma Leach, Mother to Mother co-director. “You don’t know what a tremendous help this is for our work here.”

“I’m continually humbled by the works of our Mercy co-workers,” shared Reta Baker, Mercy Hospital Fort Scott president. “Efforts such as this tend to be part of Mercy’s culture. Whether caring for patients, co-workers or our community, going beyond the expectation is the norm.”
