Mercy Health Foundation Ada will host its 10th annual golf tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club to support Mercy Hospital Ada.

The day’s festivities will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, golf, and a silent auction, and will conclude with the Foundation’s Fifth Annual Charity Poker Tournament.

Tee times start as early as 7:30 a.m. The $125 per person registration fee covers the greens fee for 18 holes of golf at Oak Hills Country Club, a golf cart, and breakfast and lunch at the club house.

This year, there will be prizes for hole-in-one on four different holes, closest to the pin and longest drive. The top three teams will walk away with WinStar Golf Academy packages, valued at more than $100.

“Few things are more important in a community than access to health care,” said Mike Feezel, chair of the Mercy Health Foundation Golf Classic and partner at Mid-America Auto Group of Ada. “I’m proud to chair this event for the second year. Not only is it a great day full of fun, but all the money raised goes directly to our local hospital, positively impacting our community and further meeting health care needs in Ada.”

Following the golf tournament, dinner, a silent auction and music will take place on the second floor of the country club for $50 per person. Items in the silent auction range from designer purses to football tickets and more.

Concluding the evening, the foundation will host its Fifth Annual Foundation Charity Poker Tournament. Entry to the tournament is $30 per person; winner takes home a poker champion bracelet, a traveling trophy and bragging rights for the next year.

“This is always a great opportunity to see supporters from all over donate to our hospital as we continue improving our community’s access to health care,” said Todd Essary, director of Mercy Health Foundation Ada. “The community has been such a great partner with our hospital and we are thankful for their continued support.”

Event sponsors to date include: Accounts Collect Specialists, Mid-America Auto Group of Ada, Gaddis & Gaddis Wealth Management, Mccortney Family In-Home Care, Doctors Park Pharmacy, Account Collection Specialists, Landmark Bank, Citizens Bank of Ada, Vision Bank,  and Sign Source.
