ST. LOUIS - Mercy Clinic, the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Mercy Hospital and Mercy Children’s Hospital, added new doctors this year.
Bingzhong Chen, MD, neurologist, joined Mercy Clinic Neurology and Sleep Medicine – Patients First, 901 Patients First Dr., in Washington, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from Fujian Medical University in China. Dr. Chen completed a neurology residency at Southern Illinois in Springfield, Illinois and an electrodiagnostic neurology fellowship at St. Louis University.
Matthew Gaeta, MD, gastroenterologist, joined Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology – Patients First, 901 Patients First Dr., in Washington, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri, where he also completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship.
Michael Gerardo, DO, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine – Old Tesson, at 12348 Old Tesson Rd., Ste. 250, in south St. Louis County. He earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Dr. Gerardo completed an internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital - Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and a geriatric medicine fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Pankaj Kaul, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and cares for patients hospitalized at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from NKP Salve Institute in Nagpur, India and completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Michelle Vanstone, MD, pediatrician, joined Mercy Clinic Children’s Hospitalists and cares for children hospitalized at Mercy Children’s Hospital St. Louis. She earned her medical degree from University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. She completed a pediatric residency at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland and a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
