Mercy Perry Welcomes Two Physician Assistants

January 9, 2025

Mercy Perry’s care team is growing with the addition of two physician assistants. Nicole Brown and Elizabeth Eubanks recently joined Mercy Perry’s team to provide increased health care access to patients in Perry County.

Nicole Brown

Nicole Brown will see patients at Mercy Primary Care – 212 Hospital Lane, Suite 101A. She started her health care career at an urgent care in St. Louis before moving to Mercy Jefferson in Festus, where she was a hospitalist. Brown earned her bachelor’s in biology from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. She then completed her master’s in physician assistant studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and obtained her board certification.

“I'm looking forward to the variety of practices in the primary care setting, along with the relationships I’ll be able to build with patients along the way,” said Brown, who is originally from Jefferson County, Missouri. “I live in Perryville, and I’m really looking forward to caring for the community around me and being closer to home.”

Brown recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Clint. In her free time, she enjoys her blue heeler dog, Roscoe, spending time at Lake of the Ozarks with her family and friends, and completing small projects in her new home.

Elizabeth Eubanks

Elizabeth Eubanks will see patients at Mercy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine – 206 Hospital Lane.

Eubanks earned her bachelor’s in biology at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, later earning her master’s in physician assistant studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. Previously, she volunteered as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) for an elderly couple.

“Choosing the field of orthopedics has always been more of a feeling rather than a reason,” Eubanks said. “Orthopedic intervention can give patients a chance to truly live their lives again, all while doing the activities they love. Helping patients gain back a part of who they once were is the most rewarding thing I’ve experienced.

“It was important to me to work in a rural area where I can give back to the community through health care. I’ve had the pleasure of spending four of my nine clinical rotations and preceptorship at Mercy Perry. This orthopedic practice holds a special place in my heart, as my desire to become a PA was strongly influenced by my job shadowing experience at this very office. There’s no place I’d rather be than where my journey began.”

At home, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her golden retriever on outdoor adventures.  Eubanks also loves baking and decorating for all holidays and celebrations.
