Beloved Doctors Return to Mercy

WASHINGTON, Mo. – After four and half years, Drs. J.B. Grimes and Michael Richardson are returning to Mercy and accepting new patients in the Four Rivers community.

Grimes will care for patients at Mercy Family Medicine, 200 N. Highway 47 in Marthasville, Missouri. Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Gradel, who works alongside Grimes, will also return to Mercy in Marthasville.

Richardson will care for patients at Mercy Family Medicine, 97 Saint Andrews Dr. in Union, Missouri.

“Both Drs. Grimes and Richardson are great physicians providing high quality care,” said Alan Smith, Mercy Washington chief operating officer. “They are loved by patients and staff alike, and we’re excited to welcome them back to Mercy.”

Grimes said he’s excited to be welcomed back to Mercy. “I will once again be able to more easily bring the amazing resources that Mercy offers to my patients and the community.”

Richardson was happy to return to Mercy for its stability and mission to serve the whole community, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. 

“I grew up in the area. My grandfather was a doctor in the area, and I hope to influence change and continue building the relationship between Mercy and the Four Rivers community,” Dr. Richardson said.
