ROGERS, Ark. – Mercy Health Foundation Northwest Arkansas is welcoming three new members to its 24-member board of directors.
Joining the board are Melanie Belford, Walmart, Inc., vice president, finance transformation and digital acceleration; Tina Gabbard, Cox Communications Arkansas market vice president; and Steve Galen, community leader.
Board members serve as ambassadors for Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas and guide Mercy Health Foundation Northwest Arkansas in its pursuit of collaborative partnerships to enhance the quality of life in Northwest Arkansas and strive toward making health care accessible for all.
The Foundation also named board officers:
Chair – Mike Curtis, Anheuser-Busch vice president, Walmart and Sam’s Club
Vice Chair – Stefan Sterns, NewRoad Capital Partners partner
Treasurer – Pat Curran, Walmart, Inc., former chief operating officer
Secretary – Melanie Belford, Walmart, Inc., vice president, finance transformation and digital acceleration
Curtis will build on the work of outgoing board chair Nathan Smith, chief operating officer of Transportation Equipment Network.
