Steve Mackin, Mercy president and CEO, was recently named to Becker's Healthcare's 2025 list of "61 CEO Influencers to Know." The recognition highlights health system leaders driving transformation through innovation, advocacy and a commitment to equity and technology.

Since joining Mercy in 2017 and becoming CEO in April 2022, Mackin has led one of the nation’s largest integrated health systems through groundbreaking advancements in digital care, AI and data science. Under Mackin’s leadership, Mercy is accelerating population health, value-based care and preventive care as one of the nation’s largest accountable care organizations, with 55 hospitals and more than 50,000 caregivers across five states.
