Dr. Varant Arzoumanian recently joined Mercy’s growing cancer care team in Fort Smith and will soon see patients at its new location.
Mercy Oncology & Hematology – Fort Smith Tower West is set to open June 1 at 6801 Rogers Ave., Suite 202. Dr. Arzoumanian brings years of oncology experience to Mercy and is well known for his commitment to caring for cancer patients across the River Valley. Throughout his career, he has focused on providing compassionate, patient-centered care while guiding individuals and families through every stage of a cancer diagnosis.
“I have had the privilege of walking alongside patients and families in the River Valley for many years, and I am honored to continue that work with Mercy,” Dr. Arzoumanian said. “This new clinic enables us to provide comprehensive, compassionate cancer care close to home, and I look forward to serving patients in a space designed to support them through every step of their journey.”
Along with the cancer center under construction on Mercy’s campus, the opening of Mercy Oncology & Hematology – Fort Smith Tower West will expand access to specialized cancer care in the River Valley. The clinic is designed to support patients with comprehensive oncology and hematology services delivered by an experienced, collaborative care team.
Dr. Arzoumanian looks forward to continuing to serve patients in the region through Mercy’s new clinic and ensuring high-quality cancer care remains accessible throughout the community.
“Dr. Arzoumanian’s experience and longstanding connection to the River Valley make him a tremendous addition to our Mercy team,” said Amy Fore, vice president of patient services at Mercy Fort Smith. “His dedication to patients aligns closely with Mercy’s mission to bring hope and healing to the communities we serve.”
