ADA, Okla. — Southern Oklahoma patients have better-than-ever access to high-quality sleep studies with Mercy Sleep Center – Ada’s recent expansion.
Mercy caregivers and community leaders gathered Tuesday for a ribbon cutting and blessing at the expanded sleep lab, located at 500 N. Monte Vista St. Suite B.
“Every expansion of health care services here in Ada helps keep care local and strengthens our community’s vitality,” said Bobby Stitt, Mercy Hospital Ada’s chief administrative officer. “Reducing our wait times with this expansion means patients will get their diagnosis earlier and start treatment faster.”
The Oklahoma Sleep Institute manages the clinic for Mercy.
“We’re so proud of the relationship we have with Mercy here in Ada that has helped transform sleep health care for local patients and their clinicians,” said Oklahoma Sleep Institute President Mike Gold. “Doubling our capacity will help life-changing treatment reach more people and do it faster.”
The expanded sleep center features a more home-like environment, with enhanced comfort and privacy that helps produce higher-quality sleep studies.
Expanding from two to four beds provides patients with more scheduling options to get diagnosis and treatment for sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.
