Mercy Hospital Ada is a 156-bed, acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and the surrounding areas in south-central Oklahoma. The hospital recently earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) for its compliance with national quality and patient safety standards. In addition, the Mercy Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital Ada has earned accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), which recognizes the center for improving the survival and quality of life for cancer patients.
Mercy also maintains our own ambulance (EMS) fleet that proudly serves all of Pontotoc County.
Mercy is home to a full service surgery center, offering the safest environment for inpatient and outpatient procedures. With around-the-clock care, our entire team of providers, specialists and surgeons are prepared to handle whatever life throws your way.
And for the third year in a row, Truven Health Analytics, part of IBM Watson Health, recognizes Mercy as one of the nation’s top five large health care systems for safer care, shorter stays and better experiences. It’s our privilege to continue the mission of the Sisters of Mercy in sharing God’s mercy with all of those we are called to serve.
