Mercy Celebrates Primary Care Clinic Expansion With Blessing, Ribbon Cutting

September 29, 2026

KINGFISHER, Okla. — Local patients of all ages have better access than ever to primary care and walk-in medical services with the new expansion at Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Kingfisher.

A group of Mercy caregivers and people from the Kingfisher community gather to cut a ceremonial ribbon in front of the Mercy primary care clinic. Mercy caregivers cut the ribbon on an expansion at Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Kingfisher, providing improved access to primary care and walk-in services for Kingfisher patients.

“Going back 200 years ago to our Irish foundress, Catherine McAuley, Mercy’s mission has always been to meet people where they are,” said Mercy regional physician executive Dr. Jesse Campbell. “That’s exactly why we’re continuing to invest our time and energy in Kingfisher. With this expansion, we’re able to serve more patients in their hometown and give our community the care they depend on just around the corner.”

The expansion at the clinic, located in the Physician Offices Building at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher, 1000 Hospital Drive, provides more clinical and administrative space, giving the clinic’s five primary care providers the ability to see more patients locally.

The clinic’s providers are Dr. Branson Kester and three nurse practitioners: Kandice Burk, Amy Cavner and Rise Kester. The clinic serves patients of all ages, from pediatric to seniors.

The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, with walk-in hours for new and established patients from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The primary care and walk-in services at the clinic also help provide patients with seamless referral access to Mercy’s other services in Kingfisher and throughout central Oklahoma.

The neighboring Mercy Hospital Kingfisher is a 25-bed hospital offering swing beds, an intensive care unit, infusion therapy and other critical health care services. The Senior Life Solutions program at the hospital offers intensive outpatient therapy to meet the unique needs of people, typically ages 65 and up, experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes.
