With Fast Track, there’s no waiting room; patients go immediately to a private room where all care is performed

Mercy Kids ER at Mercy Hospital South

At the Mercy Kids ER at Mercy Hospital South, children receive expert, compassionate care for unexpected illnesses and injuries. The Mercy Kids ER is staffed by a team of Mercy Kids pediatricians and pediatric trained nurses. Additional features include: 

  • Separate waiting and triage areas just for kids 
  • Six private treatment rooms dedicated to – and designed for – your family 
  • A Child Life Specialist to help kids feel less fearful and anxious, and better understand their treatment 
  • Specialized equipment designed for children and their unique needs 

If follow-up care is required, families can receive additional treatment from nearby Mercy Kids’ pediatric specialists. 

Mercy Kids ER Hours

12 p.m. - 12 a.m., weekdays 

11 a.m. - 11 p.m., weekends 

Patients arriving between 12 a.m. - 12 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. - 11 a.m. on weekends will be cared for in the regular ER by pediatric trained providers.
