ST. LOUIS  The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to patient safety, has recognized 14 Mercy hospitals with its Full Transparency Badge for their commitment to publicly report patient safety and quality information through the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey. These 14 hospitals represent every Mercy hospital eligible for the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.

The Full Transparency Badge is awarded to hospitals that complete, affirm and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, one of the nation's leading voluntary reporting programs focused on patient safety, healthcare quality and transparency.

The commitment to sharing performance data helps patients and families make informed decisions about their care. The badge is displayed on Leapfrog's public ratings website, identifying organizations that prioritize transparency and accountability in reporting patient safety and quality measures.
