ARDMORE, Okla. – Access to services at Southern Oklahoma’s only inpatient rehabilitation unit just got easier at Mercy Hospital Ardmore.
Caregivers and others gathered Tuesday to cut the ribbon on Mercy Rehabilitation Services – Ardmore’s new location on the fourth floor inside the hospital at 1011 14th Ave. NW. The new location inside hospital makes it easier than ever before for patients to access and transition from other Mercy inpatient services.
“This is one of the most important health care facilities in the region, because it allows families to be near their loved ones during what can be lengthy inpatient rehabilitation treatment,” said Daryle Voss, president of Mercy Southern Oklahoma Communities. “We’re proud to provide that service here in Ardmore, and to have it inside our hospital where it’s close to anything else a patient might need during their stay.”
A generous donation from the Southern Oklahoma Memorial Foundation contributed to the project.
