Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) recently named Patty Arnold vice president of philanthropy. Arnold has been president of Mercy Foundation in St. Louis for four and a half years during which time she led efforts of support for the Cardinals Kids Cancer Center, Emerson Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Robert and Helene Hoffman Pediatric Emergency Department and pediatric rooftop garden.
In this newly created position, Arnold will lead philanthropic efforts across Mercy’s four-state region of Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
Arnold has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). In 2006, she was named outstanding fundraising executive by the Association of Fundraising Professionals--St. Louis Chapter and in 2010 was named one of the 25 Most Influential Business Women by the St. Louis Business Journal.
